Cookies & Storage
This page lists exactly what Vendaru keeps in your browser. It is general information, not legal advice.
1. In short
- Vendaru sets no cookies.
- We use your browser's local storage for two things: keeping you signed in and remembering your light or dark theme.
- We don't use analytics or advertising, and we don't track you across other sites.
- Some third parties see your IP address when your browser loads a map or font from them (see below).
2. What is stored on your device

Nothing else is stored: no cookies, session storage or other persistent identifiers. This applies to the whole site, including the recipient tracking page, which stores only the theme. Because both items are needed for something you asked for, or set only when you click, the UK's cookie rules (PECR regulation 6) don't require a consent banner. The sign-in token isn't a cookie, so it can be read by scripts running on our pages. We serve all scripts from our own site to keep that risk small.
3. Third parties that see your IP address
When you load a page, your browser contacts these organisations directly, so they see your IP address and browser details. They run these services themselves and have their own privacy policies.
- OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org) supplies the map pictures. The tiles your browser asks for reveal the area you are viewing.
- Google Fonts supplies the Inter typeface.
- Vercel hosts the site. For more about Vercel and about the address and route services our server uses, see the Privacy Policy.

4. Clearing or blocking it
You can clear local storage in your browser's site settings, or by signing out (which removes the token). If you block local storage, the site may not be able to keep you signed in, and the theme will reset each visit.
5. If this changes
If we add analytics, payment or other tools that use cookies or similar technology, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it, before they run. This page is version 2026-09-19.
